Broadreach Group is not strictly in the business of raising capital for hedge funds. Firms that are strictly in the business of capital raising need to feed themselves, and tend to make bad choices on manager representation over time.

We are, however, in the business of finding out which investment managers on the planet are truly exceptional, regardless of strategy or location.

On a daily basis, we are asked to find out who, for instance, are the top base metals traders, or, which funds, teams or individuals, for instance, are the best long-terms managers in global emerging markets or technology-sector equity long/short investing. Every once in a while, in the course of these activities, we uncover a gem that is appropriate for seed or L.P. capital. When those situations arise, we are in position to assist. Our External Partners assist us with manager due diligence to confirm or refute our instincts. For those managers with whom we do ultimately form a capital raising partnership, we will refine marketing materials and approach a select set of appropriate investors ranging from family offices to pension funds, and every appropriate investor type in between.
