Talent Search: In our first 18 months of operation, Broadreach
Group has successfully executed an impressive number of placements on behalf of
some of the leading hedge fund and derivatives organizations. About half of our
placements have been MD or partner level. However, for our priority clients, we
are just as happy and able to assist in the placement of a junior associate as
we are a senior executive. We have also executed large team moves in both
our hedge fund and derivatives practices.
We are routinely sought out by and proactively seek best-of-breed candidates
with whom we form an exclusive agent relationship. These premier candidates are
shown first to our active clients. Our rate of premier candidate placement
of is near 100%.
Fund Formation: Broadreach Group has formed close
relationships with incubators and other seed capital providers, many of which
are large multi-strategy hedge funds. Broadreach assists best-of-breed
investment teams with new fund formation by introducing these teams to
appropriate sources of seed capital as well as exposing them to and advising
them on alternatives, such as joining an existing hedge fund structure or bank
proprietary trading desk. Our extensive relationships and experience make us
uniquely qualified to advise investment teams on new fund formation.
Consulting: Broadreach Group has advised several of the
world's major hedge fund organizations on issues ranging from new strategy/team
formation to competitive benchmarking. Our partners have the background and
extensive peer relationships that allow us to gain valuable information on
talent, industry trends, capital flows, compensation levels, and a wide range
of other topics that our clients find useful.
