Our Process

Define/Plan
  • Understand as much as possible our client’s objectives with respect to a potential hire, and the client’s existing team, culture, performance, etc.
  • Gain consensus with client on types and level of responsibilities, compensation, title, and other search criteria.
  • Meet with other appropriate members of the Broadreach team to map out a research plan, which typically involves speaking with market professionals that operate 360 degrees around the target candidate pool. Our competitors often lack such 360-degree reach.
  • Review research plan with client.
Research/Identify
  • Initiate research. Produce initial list of targets as well as list of 360-degree information sources around targets.
  • Meet and rank candidates based on pre-determined criteria agreed upon with client.
  • Narrow list of candidates.
  • Provide bios/resumes and our assessment to client.
  • Review profiles with client.
Execute/Close
  • Obtain client feedback.
  • Assist with background checks upon client request and pursue more rigorous channel checking of lead candidate(s).
  • Assist in compensation/title negotiations.
  • Assist client at all levels necessary and appropriate to successfully close candidate.
  • Assist candidate with smooth transition in new role.
  • Follow-up with client and candidate separately to review our process and results.
